Educational practice is an important part of developing the practical capacity of future teachers in normal universities and colleges. It is a way for the Normal interns to put their knowledge and skills learned in the past years into practice, and a process of combining theories and practice. The effect of educational practice influences directly the developing quality of future teachers, and then the educational quality. Going through the work of educational practice of these future teachers well can help improve the teacher educational level and ensure the future educational quality. Due to the effects of traditional ideas and the changes of educational situation in this new age, the work of educational practice in our country still has many problems and faces many challenges, lagging behind the high requirements of the development of teacher profession and teacher training, and reform of educational practice is getting more and more attentions.With literature method, this thesis first presents the historical development and evolution of educational practice both at home and abroad. Then we will discuss the current situation of educational practice in our country. After the collecting and reading work of relative literature, this thesis makes an analysis of the general situation and problems of educational practice from such aspects of educational practice purpose,contents, time, management,base,guides and evaluation, and help us get a general understanding of the situation and problems.In addition,through questionnaire survey and interviews, this thesis also makes an practical analysis of the primary education major of Shanghai Normal University-the representative of normal universities and colleges. And we find these following problems:educational practice purpose too simple; the model of educational practice needs further improvement; educational practice content is too simple; the time is too limited; the feedback function of practice evaluation cannot get performed; the guide work of practice is incomplete; it stills lack cooperation and management among normal universities and colleges,educational practice base and governmental departments; and so on.Regarding these problems, this paper in the last part puts forward corresponding solutions and suggestions, with a hope to provide meaningful references and reflections for the healthy development of educational practice in our country’s normal universities and colleges.
