The Development Of Chinese Ethnic Minorities’ Traditional Sports Under The Perspective Of Cultural Soft Power

With the development of our socialist modernization and the acceleration of economic globalization, it has become an important and pressing practical issue to strengthen and enhance China’s cultural soft power. Scientific researches under the perspective of cultural soft power have been involved in all aspects of our society, including minority ethnic traditional sports.Minority ethnic traditional sports as the research object and the methods of literature studies, field surveys, expert interviews and logical reasoning are used, this paper researches on minority ethnic traditional sports’ status, values, systems, content and mode so as to provide reference for the development of minority ethnic traditional sports and for the promotion of our cultural soft power.This article consists of six parts. The first part is "introduction", which analyzes the background and significance of this research and discusses the notions of cultural soft power and minority ethnic traditional sports as the basis for further research. The second part is "status", which defines the concepts relating to minority ethnic traditional sports and discusses the significance of promoting cultural soft power from three aspects. The third part is "value", which discusses on the heritage value, ecological value, educational value, artistic value, tourism value, industry value of minority ethnic traditional sports. The fourth part is "system", which is about the exploit of minority ethnic traditional sports’ policy culture system. It involves in minority people’s living, the organization and management, regulatory protection, propaganda, diversified financing, supervision and evaluation of minority ethnic traditional sports. Part fifth "content", brings forth relative countermeasures for the exploit of minority ethnic traditional sports’ contents. Part Ⅵ "model", putting forward a model for the development of minority ethnic traditional sports which is:spirit culture as a precursor, system culture as protection, and material culture as basis.
