Learning motivation is the core force which encourages college students to study. As the educational workers in college, we just focus on students put poor enthusiasm into the study moreover. We often ascribed the fact that college students who dislike studying to the completely relax after the college entrance examination, but pay less attention to find out the students’ learning motivation. The development of things is fundamentally determined by internal factors. Similarly, the learning outcome depends on learners themselves, when the learning activities appear difference. It depends largely on whether the students have clearly learning motivation, except the learners’IQ and their study method. This paper discussed the college students’learning motivation by adopting Documentary Analysis Method, Comparative Method, Investigation and Analysis Methods empirical approach.In this research, results delivered questionnaires to1200and received1160. By analyzing the results obtained. On one hand, it can help us acquire the most direct data, which make up the Inadequate research of the learning motivation content and structure. On the other hand, it can help us understand characteristics of learning motivation and provide the references for college students to cultivate the good learning motivation, enhance the effectiveness of education. This paper, which study on college students’ learning motivation, showed there are significant differences for students in gender, subject and grade, from urban or from rural. It’s essential for student, school, teacher and people from society to make a joint effort to cultivate college students’ learning motivation.
