In recent years, the interactive whiteboard, as the mainstream technology in the new generation of class information, has been widely applied in the primary and secondary classroom teaching in various provinces, due to the differences of regional installation and teachers’application abilities, we also find some common problems when teachers use the interactive whiteboard in the process of introducing and popularizing the application of the interactive whiteboard, for example:teachers more regard it as a touch screen, using it to present PPT courseware content, making use of the auxiliary tools to annotate the courseware content, or using other tools to assist the content interpretation of the PPT courseware, etc; However, the interactive whiteboard, as a new platform and a new teaching aid, how could it make teachers feel the real changes brought about by this new media technology to the classroom teaching, what’s on earth does it fundamentally change which links in teaching and learning, how to fully reflect the strengths of the interactive whiteboard through the combination with the subject teaching, those are the key issues that we have to think and research deeply.Based on the current status of part of the primary and secondary school teachers’ use of the interactive whiteboard in Chengdu, this author of this paper made a corresponding questionnaire survey and a corresponding analysis of the causes in allusion to the emerging problems as well as carried out the teaching design and classroom application with the interactive whiteboard teaching as the core in the practice school, at the same time, the author made comparative analysis between the interactive whiteboard and the classroom teaching that based on the courseware form as the core. Through the practical teaching, on the basis of help teachers to solve the bottleneck problems that they encountered in using the interactive whiteboard, through making comparative analysis of the cases and the corresponding data investigation statistics to highlights the special teaching advantage of the interactive whiteboard in the classroom teaching process. The following is the structure of this paper:Chapterl:Specifically elaborating the research background and development process of the interactive whiteboard, via consulting and reading a large number of documents to understand the research status quo at home and abroad as well as the interactive whiteboard’s distribution and application status in domestic regions, then presenting the research content, research methods and significance of this thesis. According to the questionnaires survey made in part of the primary and elementary schools in Chengdu to understand the teachers’current application status.Chapter2:Make corresponding analysis by combining with the current situation.Chapter3:Specifically elaborating the working principle and mode of the interactive whiteboard and making comparative analysis of the teaching performance of different teaching media. To illustrate the interactive whiteboard’s characteristics and advantages as well as the thinking and analysis of the teaching mode by means of mind mapping and cases.Chapter4:Selecting three traditional media-based teaching cases to carry out classroom view; Conducting teaching case design and application that based on the interactive whiteboard of the three courses and recording the entire process of the classroom teaching process; Making comparative analysis and then interpreting the interactive whiteboard’s teaching and learning advantages.Chapter5:Making corresponding summary and outlook on the research subject and providing reference for the issues in allusion to the interactive whiteboard’s application characteristics at different stages.
