With the coming of Internet Era,Students’ learning methods and educational forms have undergone corresponding changes.The application of interactive electronic whiteboard also impacts the traditional teaching mode in classroom.It not only embodies the teaching concept of "students as the main body"in the course of teaching activities,but also realizes the multi-dimensional interaction between teachers and students.Based on this,the author applies the interactive electronic whiteboard to the English teaching design of the sixth grade in primary school,to provide more space for strengthening teaching effect and optimizing teaching design.And it also will provide some thoughts and cases for improving the quality of English classroom teaching.Firstly,based on a full understanding of the current situation and demands of the development of interactive electronic whiteboard at home and abroad,this paper chooses the observation method and case study method as the main research methods,defines the core concepts and expounds the relevant theoretical basis.Secondly,this research starts from the perspective of instructional design,to explore the application of interactive electronic whiteboard in English teaching in primary schools.By means of questionnaire survey and interview,the sample objects and teachers were investigated to obtain specific data for analysis.This paper expounds the existing problems in English teaching in grade A primary school and the application status of interactive electronic whiteboard.Finally,combining the"student-oriented" teaching design model with the English curriculum standard requirements,The teaching design and practice research on the application of interactive electronic whiteboard in English teaching of sixth grade in primary school.It includes the selection of teaching materials suitable for interactive whiteboard teaching,the analysis of teaching difficulties,the establishment of teaching objectives,the analysis of learning situation,and the analysis of teaching process.And the effect of the practice is analyzed and evaluated,so as to carry out the improvement and design of English teaching design of grade 6 primary school based on interactive electronic whiteboard.In order to provide a vivid case for the relevant teaching design to draw a conclusion and improve the space for progress.And also to stimulate students’ interest in learning,improve the learning initiative and efficiency.Teachers should change their teaching concepts,improve their teaching methods and evaluation methods,and actively promote the process of classroom teaching reform.The research shows that the implementation of the primary school English teaching design based on the interactive electronic whiteboard can better help teachers improve the classroom learning efficiency and students’ learning enthusiasm,so that students can use English in the environment of teaching and entertainment.
