classroom atmosphere can influence the mental activity and behavior of the teachers and students in the art class and has an important role in learning knowledge of the art. The new curriculum reform of art classes advocates that teachers and students work together to build a equal dialogue and a healthy interactive classroom and to promote student learning from the change of view. It also puts forward a series of words, such as participation, exploring cooperation and cross-live. What’s more, the participation is the premise and basis of all. To create a classroom atmosphere of art can enhance the student participation in the art class, and then the students are in the freedom, democracy, respect, trust, understanding and tolerance, so they can form a awareness of active participation in the art class to inspire the desire to explore the knowledge consciously and participate the art class creatively. The art class becomes a carrier where students truly be cultivated sentiments, inspired the wisdom and promoted the individual development as well as the development of the student’s comprehensive practical ability.This paper is divided into six parts, referring to the art classroom atmosphere type, structure and influence factors, studying the art classroom atmosphere for students to enhance the role of participation and its causes, which analyzes the successful experiences and problems of creating atmosphere in current art class. It also from three dimensions,the teachers and students emotional communication, the creation of teaching situations and the effective teaching methods, proposes strategies to create a classroom atmosphere to enhance the participation of the students in the art class.
