College sports communities is the student group organization, playing an important role inuniversity students’ sports activities. At present, the transformation of the notion of school physicaleducation accelerates sports consumption and needs strengthening, the pursuit of sports fitness andentertainment has become the contemporary college students’ fashion, the original physicaleducation and extracurricular activities organization form has not been able to satisfy the students’sports demand, therefore, the campus sports associations emerge as the times require. Collegesports communities in Qingdao has now begun to take shape, enriching students’ sports andcultural life, and achieving certain results, but also some problems has been exposed. If we do nottake actions, it’s bound to affect the development of the College sports communities in Qingdao. So understanding the development status, analyzing the problems and exploring the way to dealwith, has an important significance to the healthy growth in the College sports communities inQingdao. The research object is the Qingdao ordinary university sports communities, using the methodof literature, questionnaire, interview and mathematical statistics. We study the management mode, size, number of activities, organizational forms of the Qingdao ordinary university sportscommunities and make a further analysis on the current sports associations developmentdifficulties and internal management problems, actively putting forward effective new ways andnew ideas. Through the above studies I draw the following conclusions:1. Nowadays, the management model of sports communities of common colleges in Qingdao isbasically that the respective management among three organizations, namely party committee, the youth league committee, and subordinate confederation (or the administration center ofcommunities).2. The school’s approval and management of the sports communities is relatively loose.Though all communities are necessary to check and evaluate in the end of one semester, it stilllack a strict regulation due to the loss of supervision in the middle of this semester.3. The prospectus of communities didn’t arouse enough attention of the school administration sothat these regulation couldn’t exhibit desirable ability which would guarantee the normaldevelopment of these communities. This adverse factor would hinder the future development. The inner management necessitates relevant supervision and administration at the aspect ofregistration, election, and evaluation. But the financial system is not clear, it’s lacking ofmanagement and supervision4. The activities exhibit many-faceted character. The students have enough right to choose, butthe propaganda strength is apparently scant and the levels of different communities aredifferent.5. The scale of these communities show small-size or medium-size and the members are madeup of the freshmen or sophomore. And, ball associations are more popular than othercommunities. With respect of the gender proportion of members, schoolboys are inclined to participate in these sports communities comparing with schoolgirls.6. The superintendent plays a key role in organizing activities. And, internal decision-making isdemocratic. These communities possesses a fixed system of regular meetings and conferencesystems7. The playground could satisfy the fundamental need of some sport communities to some extent. However, some sport fields increase the economic burden of the sports associations becauseof the additional charges in contrast with the lack of unified planning time for the use of freeschool fields.8. The relevant equipment is short of maintenance so that it is hard to require in time. Thesituation would result in the adverse influence on the normal use.9. The colleges don’t generally focus on the problem of instructors of sports associations and theinstructors have no enough abilities to understand necessary excitation mechanism.10. The fund of activities is relative less. The main sources of income are four aspects, namelycorporate sponsorship, school funding, membership fee, alumni donation11. The aim for the development of these communities is not definite, the quality of activitieshaven’t reached the higher level so that it is difficult to arouse their attentions. After investigating the current developing situation of regular institutions of higher learning, according to the relevance theory research, policies and regulations, and successful operationalmode at home and broad, we propose constructive measures for development of sportscommunities of regular institutions of higher learning in Qingdao.1. The college should make new thinking and take cultural administration.2. The college should make good use of human resource, take positive guidance on the studentorganizations and improve the quality of league activities.3. The college can establish effective sports association management system and draft incentivepolicies in order to impel them growing healthily.4. The college should offer more free sports venues and equipment reducing the economicpressures of the sports association.5. If the sports association develops in form of substantiation, it would correspond with thesocial market economic operation.6. Starting with the education, we cultivate the correct sport concept, and strengthen students, sports consciousness for whole life.7. If increase the publicity and intramural publicity channels, leaving the school and stepping onsociety, we would all know it.8. Binging the sports association into the sports teaching management system, it will enhance thehierarchy of the league activities.
