| University students are precious human talents for our country. With thedeepening of educational reform and the continuous expansion of colleges anduniversities, positioning university graduates scientifically and properly has become asignificant part of achieving the goals of optimizing human resource deployment. Inaddition, the positioning of university graduates also become another critical factor inthe development of our national economy and society.In the current environment of higher education popularization, the problem ofemployment difficulty has become a social problem which aroused concern amongscholars in various fields. Presently our university graduate employment policy,research mainly focus on the analysis of issues related to difficult employment andlow employment quality, which embodies the supply and demand paradox of the newhuman capital and reveals the irreconcilable development of education and theeconomy. There are various factors which contribute to difficult employment andemployment quality. On one hand, there are the university student subjective factors,such as individual employability, personal interests,hobbies and values. In addition,there also has some objective factors, such as the development of economy situation,employer labor demand condition and the development of the labor market. Empiricalresearch on employment rate and employment quality, concerning employment rateand employment quality, benefit the management and significantly influencesemployment.This research, comes from the employment policy perspective, using acombination of qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyze the problemsinvolved with the employment policy of university graduates, the subsistent problemof the employment policy as well as the relationship between the employment and theemployment behavior choice, employability coupled with employment opportunities.Our data was collected from questionnaires filled out by graduating students in2009together with their employers.This research drew support from the graduation policy of university graduates,along with fundamental assumption about the influence on university graduatesemployment from college students’ employment policy. And it presents three researchhypotheses. First,college students’ employment policy will effect the graduateemployment expectation and option. Second,the graduate employment employabilitywill be influenced by the college students’ employment policy. Third,the collegestudents’ employment policy will influence the university students’ employmentopportunities.This research will make up for the deficiency in university graduates employmentpolicy and will supply theoretic evidence and data supporting for modern universitygraduates’ employment policy, finally contributing in a positive way to the harmonyof the nation. Ultimately achieving and maintaining steady improvement anddevelopment for the economy. |
