The effective teaching is both people’s long period of the pursuit of the goal, is also a kind of new teaching idea, discussion and clear the meaning of effective teaching, help education theory researchers to study the effective teaching and education practitioners develop effective teaching. What is the effective teaching? The present science has no unified view. In this paper that effective teaching is to define effective teaching from the students’ learning and development. Both the first effective teaching to be able to facilitate students’ learning and development, this is the fundamental purpose of effective teaching, also the measure of teaching effectiveness only standard; followed by effective teaching to be able to inspire and mobilize the initiative of the students’ learning, motivation and consciousness, this is the starting point and foundation of effective teaching; finally the effective teaching to be able to provide, and create the appropriate teaching condition, promote students form effective learning, this is the effective teaching the essence and the core.Based on the new geography curriculum theory, geography teaching theory and modern learning theory and related scientific theory as the guide in this paper, On the basis of the analysis for the investigation of the effective teaching of young geography teacher in secondary schools. Talking about middle school in youth geography teachers teaching effectively the main problems result statistic, analysis of young teachers before the teaching whether make full preparations before class in the middle school, ability to make flexible use of a variety of teaching methods in the teaching process,ability to stimulate students’ interest in learning, ability to be done in a timely manner to teaching reflection,etc.,according to the analysis of the data, understands the teacher in the teaching process carries on the effective teaching the main problem existed.Conclusion:(1) The New Geography Curriculum effective teaching purpose is the development of students as the center of the modern teaching philosophy and practice of teaching and learning activities.(2) Teachers should be combine a variety of instructional strategies based on student learning and improve students’geographical ’interest in learning.enhance students’ learning enthusiasm, training students to learn creative thinking.(3) Students need to have a strong learning self-awareness and encourage students to question teachers about knowledge and bold innovation.(4) Taking multi-evaluation criteria.(5) The teacher should be as comprehensive utilization of a variety of effective internal and external resources. The new curriculum context of the teachers must have to collect, classify and organize a variety of geographic information.Innovation:"the geographical effective teaching strategy" is the core part of this paper. The theoretical basis of effective teaching, discusses the basic strategies for effective teaching, Including:students’main strategy; effective instructional design strategies; learning organization strategies; effective questioning strategies; instructional media selection strategy; incentive evaluation strategies; teaching reflection strategies Effective teaching of geography teachers for secondary school youth to provide a reference.
