The current Chinese education in primary school has been impacted byexam-oriented education for a long time, so there are a lot of errors, suchas the developing trend of more and more tools and technology, the lossof humanistic value and cultural atmosphere, the decline of innovationability in composition, the lack of learning fun, and so on. The reasonfor these is that the traditional Chinese education in primary school valueslanguage, reason and logical thinking, namely the development andutilization of the left brain, but ignores the right brain, so inhibitsthe potential development of it.The right brain development is to use a variety of suitable method ofbrain work to activate the right brain, making huge potential. This papersummaries the domestic and foreign main theoretical resources of"right-brain development theory", try to apply the "right brain developmenttheory" to Chinese teaching in primary schools. In addition, basing on thepractice object, two classes’ students from Grade2, Jiufo Primary School,Luogang District, Guangzhou, this paper initially explores the use of"right brain development theory" in guiding the basic route of primaryschool Chinese teaching, and carries out the action games teaching, α brainwaves teaching, visualization teaching, intuition thinking teaching andother kinds of teaching activities to let the students study Chineseknowledge with a lively form, to activate their right hemisphere, and tostimulate their innovation ability.
