With the continued quantitative increase of college students, teaching quality ofuniversity has become a hot topic in the society. However, the building of universityteachers’ professional competence is the key to improve the quality of highereducation. And female teachers in universities make up half part of the universityteachers. They have their own special personalities. So it is very important to researchtheir occupational ability, especially the factors that affect their occupational ability,and how to affect. The solution to these problems is effective to enhance femaleuniversity teachers’ professional competence.In this paper it selected eight colleges from Jiangxi province for the research.After a related literature review and the combination of university teachers’ interview,it built the model of the structural model of professional competence and its influencefactors of female university teachers, and then designed the influencing factors of theuniversity teachers ’ professional competence questionnaire. At last, it used softwareSpss17.0and Amos6.0to process the survey data, and the model of the structuralmodel of professional competence and its influence factors of female universityteachers was validated.The professional competence of university teachers is usually consisted witheducation and social services capacity, scientific research, but in view of differentrequirement of kinds of subject of teachers’ participation in specific social practices,on this article the female university teachers’ professional competence is measured byeducation and scientific research ability. The results showed that human capital, socialcapital, environmental conditions and individual psychology are the main influencingfactors. what’s more, education, training, academic groups, interpersonal relationships,social environment, organizational environment, family environment, cognitive career,work stress, personality characteristics, are the exogenous variables. This paper hasalso listed the main impact factors and the weight of each factor by the analyzing of influencing factors on the development of Jiangxi Province female university teachers’professional competence. The weight showed that: the greatest effect was the humancapital on both education ability and scientific research ability of Jiangxi provinceuniversities female teachers. In addition, the effect of personality psychological oneducation ability is outstanding, and the effect of social capital on scientific researchis outstanding, while the effect of environmental conditions on both education abilityand scientific research ability is obvious.Finally, based on the study conclusion, this paper analyzed the developmentpresent situation of Jiangxi Province female university teachers’ professionalcompetence, pointed out those main problems of Jiangxi Province female universityteachers’ vocational ability development and put forward relevant suggestions andcountermeasures.
