On The Problems&Solving Strategies Of Learning Support Service In Distance Open Education: The Perspective Of A Case Study

We have been in the time of information technology. As the rapid development ofinformation technology, distance education is coming into the new world. Thedevelopment of the society encourages the stronger and stronger desire of self-improvement. As the spread of the idea about lifelong education and the appeal for thebuilding of the learning type society, the open universities which could provide thepublic equal opportunity in education come up. The trend of developing the distanceeducation energetically is inevitable, however, with the production of the distanceeducation, learning support service is being rapidly developed，and is an importantpart of distance education.This article, is based on a systematic analysis of domestic and abroad learningsupport services research literatures, expounds in detail the concept, definition andmeaning of Distance Education, learning support service in distance open education,defines the theory and practice content of Learning Support Service in Distance OpenEducation, including their development process, operating mechanism and elementsof composition. On the basis of the existing research results about learning supportservice in distance open education, Constructivist Learning Theory、HumanismLearning Theory、Self-management Theory and the theory of affordance，from atheoretical level analysis and Summarize the existing problems and causes ofLearning Support Service in Distance Open Education in china, from an empiricallevel analysis of the existing problems and shortcomings of Learning Support Servicein Distance Open Education by the use of questionnaire survey, presents a solutionstrategy from the six aspects of resource support, intelligence support, technicalsupport, personnel support, management support and emotional support.
