| Distance education is a form of education in which teachers and students are in differentplaces, it can offer the maximum possibility for disabled students to avoidthe education restrict because of physical and physiological defect and provide a moreflexible, convenient opportunity for the disabled to receive higher education andlifelong learning. Learning support service is one of the two systems of distance education,which was thought to be divided into academic learning support service and nonacademiclearning support service. nonacademic learning support service focuses on providingemotional and management support service for students, which has a profound impacton students learning.Based on the analysis of relevant research background, the paper try to use literatureresearch, questionnaire survey, data analysis to explore the higher education levelof nonacademic learning support service in disabled long distance education and make anattempt to provide some suggestions on launching nonacademic learning support service indisabled long distance education for the radio and television university.The text consists of four parts: the first part focuses on the nonacademic supportservice of distance education. The main points of this part are as follows: first of all, thedefinition of related concepts will be narrated, second, the nonacademic support servicecharacteristics, function, features.The second part mainly discusses the distance education and nonacademic support servicetheories in which the basic theory of remote education includes: Wiedemann independentlearning theory, Moore,s theory of transactional distance and students government. the basictheory of nonacademic support service includes: human learning theory, constructivistlearning theory, emotional intelligence theory.The third part mainly carries on the statistics and analysis of data, usingthe questionnaire survey, data collection to analysis the data, on the basis of analysis, weknow there are some problems in the nonacademic learning support service for the disabled inthe radio and television university. these problems lie in the informationconsultation, personnel, resources, technology, management and service facilities. Generallyspeaking these problems are as follows: first, channels that the information released arenarrow, the information forms are single and students can not receive information timely.Meanwhile, many interference information can be found anywhere. Second, the quality ofteachers needs to be improved, some teachers do not master the teaching thought of distance teaching. Third, Most of the learning resources can not meet the needs of students. Someinstitute has serious deficiencies in the emotional service, most of the students can notfeel their teacher’s care; in the area of hardware facilities and only a few can meet the needs ofthe students, the hardware facilities and services in different are different; someinstitutions did not realize the importance of management services or related personnel workis not in place.In the fourth part the paper spare no efforts to propose related solutions which includeinformation, equipment, resources, personnel, management and other aspects of China’sdistance education for disabled people and puts forward some suggestions as follows: in thefield of information services, radio and television university should broad the informationrelease channels, and the form of information that is going to be released should be elaborated.Meanwhile, the radio and television university should release information in a timely manner,and limit the amount of information webpage; In the field of emotional service, in the term ofthe university, relevant university should establish emotional service platform; in the field oftechnical facilities service, relevant university should strengthen the construction of thelearning center, network transmission station, digital library, technology station; In the field ofresource service, relevant university should develop and build rich and diverse, high qualitylearning resources, meanwhile co-construction and sharing mechanism is also needed; inthe field of personnel service, relevant university should strengthen the construction ofteachers and technicians, at the same time,all kinds of personnel support service are stronglysupported; in the field of management service, management personnel need to foster a senseof service, university should establish the relevant management system toclear responsibilities and assessment service.Based on the above theory and the analysis of the present situation, the conclusion ofthe paper is as follows: first, learning support service is the key to determine the quality ofmodern distance education; second, the nonacademic learning support service of higherdisabled distance education stilled to be strengthen. |
