With the development of sports industrial marketization, the marketization ofour country’s competitive sports also becomes increasingly mature. Thecivilization progress in modern society requires essentially competitive sports totake on its corresponding social responsibility. The social responsibility ofcompetitive sports has caused people’s attention abroad, but in our country, thesports area still doesn’t have clear related discussions. The government alsodoesn’t have relevant laws or systems to regulate its social responsibility whichcompetitive sports should take on. All the society also lacks effective supervisionof competitive sports’ social responsibility, especially its evaluation systemstudies, which is blank.The study starts with the definition of competitive sports’ social responsibility,defines it in a broad category. Any people or organization who have effects oncompetitive sports should take on corresponding social responsibility. It candivide into internal undertakers and external undertakers according to whetherattending the competitive sports activities directly. Then, the status quo offulfilling the competitive sports’ social responsility generally is in a stable state,the related parties of competitive sports can take on corresponding socialresponsibility, however, still exists the lacks of its social responsibility. Aiming atthe lack, the thesis analyzes the reasons for lacks from macroscopic social effects,the lack of competitive system, athletes’ education, management, the weakness ofreplacement measures and social psychology. Last, in order to fulfill the socialresponsibility of our country’s competitive sports, stimulate its sustainable andharmonious development, the thesis puts forward some related strategies to fulfillcompetitive sports’ social responsibility in our country.
