The young teachers in university is a new force of higher education, who is the successor of the academic profession, and is Academic team maintain the vigor and vitality of the new force. Because of it,people should pay more attention to them.This article, select five young teachers in Sichuan Normal University as the interview, launched an in-depth study of five young teachers in academic development status. In this study, the research methods, interview and literature method, continuous in-depth interviews, from young college teachers’ academic development, the internal environment factors and external environmental factors analyzed. From their academic track (young teachers to adapt to the academic environment to deal with the relationship between colleagues, the young teachers of academic survival) the evaluation of university teaching, the status of the young teachers in the research which the plateau phenomenon in the promotion of young teachers, role conflict to expand the theoretical analysis. The conclusions of this study is obvious:First, the dual role of young teachers in university of the conflict; the second is young teachers in university teaching in conflict with the University of evaluation mode; the third is young university teachers in a weak position in the promotion. The fourth is a poor sense of self-positioning of the young teachers in university.According to the above discussion of the results, the author put forward some countermeasures to resolve the academic development of young university teachers. Finally, the author made recommendations on the results of this study.
