In recent years, with the popularization and development of the aerobics movement, this movement has not only become an important means of national fitness, but also become one of the main content of the Teaching of Physical Education. In college, the physiological development and psychological development of the students are toward a mature stage, while there are very close ties between teaching aerobics and beauty of human movement with a mutual penetration and promotion. Aerobics process not only follow the symmetry, harmony, unity, neat aesthetic form of law, but also embodies the sport specific health, strength, speed, coordination, agility, movement aesthetics and value of the exercise; in motor function, it plays a fitness role to the human body. Aerobics can regulate mood, pleasant spirit, make people filled with energy so as to achieve the spirit of great level; through calisthenics, can also be gluten bone health, well-developed muscles and great appearance; thus achieving the purpose of both great appearance and spirit, health and longevity.This paper tested the2010female undergraduate college students in four colleges and universities of Chengdu before and after the Calisthenics Course with a method of teaching test, mathematical statistics, literature, and other exercise test. Including the indicators of body weight, skinfold test, vital capacity, sit-ups. The results were analyzed.Conclusion:through12weeks of aerobics class exercise, compared with the values before exercise, chest circumference, weight, Virgin Wake index occurred a highly significant change except the height of the female students. This fully shows that the elective course of the Aerobics can not be underestimated an active role in improving the body shape of female students.after12weeks of aerobics class exercises, upper arm fat content of the female students did not significantly change, but significantly reduced in body fat content of female students, lean body mass enhancement. This may be related to the too short experimental time.Calisthenics class can significantly improve lung capacity/body mass index of female college students, step experiment index improved significantly, especially heart and lung function. But in the process of teaching and training, teachers must master good exercise intensity and exercise load, excessive load will make the student body to produce damage and deterioration, while too small load can lead to unobvious training effect.Calisthenics Course can significantly improve endurance, power and other physical fitness of female students. As college students put into too little time for physical exercise, coupled with some of the problems of the College Physical Education system, China’s college students physical aspects decline.It should be noted that the tested lower extremity strength increased obviously, while the upper body strength shew no significant improvement, which shew that there are still inadequacies in the comprehensive development of the body of Calisthenics Course, so carry out the exercise for upper body strength at the same time of aerobics class.
