Research On Excellent Athletes’ Career Planningin Sichuan Province

High-quality human resource is the indispensable resource for modern society to develop, therefore, the development of athletic enterprise can’t be made without the active participation, common struggling of excellent athletic teams and other high-quality sportsmen. However, exploitation and cultivation of high-quality excellent athletes cover multi-domain systematic engineering; it comprises the traditional-viewed sports-related learning and training as well as the comprehensive quality of excellent athletes and the multinomial content of sustainable development of athletic human resources’ exploitation and management. Among them, the item is vital but it ignores the career planning and management of excellent sportsman. At present, in order to realize athletics’ sustainable development, it should pay more attention to the long-term and sustainable development of the individual excellent sportsman, which objectively requires the individual excellent athletes and their athletic organization to guide and help the professional excellent athletes establish scientific and reasonable athletes’ career planning in terms of the professional features and their owned qualifications and make the corresponding expectation and planning for athletes’ lifetime work, post and developing process so as to make excellent athletes recognize and discover their own potentials, strengthen their professional abilities, competitive abilities and comprehensive qualities to face with the fierce career competition, improve the chances of professional success and meanwhile reduce the professional transitional period for excellent athletes, extend the career period for them to enhance the sense of happiness and degree of professional satisfaction, which solves the individual athletes faced career anxiety and drives athletic enterprise to develop via doing these. The paper arranges the current situation and problems of career planning for excellent athletes in Sichuan Province through literature study method, questionnaire method, interviewing method and also uses mathematical statistics to analyze the data collected when investigating, and induces that there is a phenomenon which pays more attention to training and less learning, existing in management and career planning of excellent athletes in Sichuan, ignores the other professional skills’training and there is also a problem that the athletes are short of the understanding of basic knowledge of career planning, the sports organizations make little of guiding and helping for athletes’career planning, lacking specialist and guiders to implement career planning. On the basis of the current situation, the paper uses SWOT analysis method and environmental uncertainty analysis method to analyze the macro, medium and micro elements which have influence on excellent athletes’ career planning in Sichuan, and summarize the critical elements which mentioned their individual quality and the system of sports organizational management. Then according to the conclusion of critical influential elements, the paper expounds the thoughts and available constructive plan for their career planning; gives some suggestions about critical controlling points in the practice of excellent athletes’ career planning in Sichuan; provides thinking reference for reforming athletic systems in Sichuan to do a favor for improving the sustainable development for them; and meanwhile provides some theoretical support to launch athletes’ career planning for our country, especially for the Western area of China and the relatively poor region in economy and sports development.
