China has been shifting its focus from applied talents training to academictalents since2011according to the strategy of realizing the historicaltransformation and adjustment proposed by ministry of education. Under theguidance of this policy the number of full-time specialized degree graduates isbooming. Meanwhile, considering the current difficult grim situation ofemployment universities now attach growing importance to specializationconstruction and advancement of systematic instruction in students’ Careerplanning education. This paper makes a comprehensive study on overallstatistics of career planning education of specialized master graduates in termsof theory and practice, which is of great significance to the development of theeducational cause of professional master degree, colleges and universities andalso the society.To the writing classical theories of career path planning are applied on theguidance of Marxist thought on comprehensive human development. Withconsideration of current reality of future occupational programming in collegesand universities，the author takes full-time specialized graduate students ofShanghai Jiaotong University as objects of large sampling survey, accordingly designing comprehensive questionnaire to evaluate realities of situation ofcareer development plan and its existing major issues. In addition, the papersummarizes and analyzes research and practice experiences of countries asAmerica, German, and Japan. With its investigating status in quo, drawing onexperience from other counties, referring to analysis of classical directivetheories, this paper, taking such three aspects as starting from the improvementof self-management of students, the innovation of education models of schoolsand the enhancement of social effective support, provides positive suggestions incareer planning education programming for professional master graduatestudents.
