"The General High School History Curriculum Standard(Experiment)" puts the film history to the Eighth Special Subject of the third volume in compulsory course. The requirement for students is to "understand the origin and the development of the film art, and recognize its impact on social life". At present, there are four versions of the high school history textbook in the market:the version of People Education Press, Hunan Education Press, People’s Press and Henan Education Press. Every version has its different emphasis, and the content also vary considerably. According to "The General High school History Curriculum Standard (Experiment)", and take the four versions of the materials as the main study objects, this thesis centers on comparing and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the four different editions of textbooks, adding some relevant background materials, and giving some suggestions to the teaching of film history. Hopefully it will benefit the teaching of "Film History in high school history class.This thesis is consisted of four parts, which are the introduction, body, conclusion and references, while the body is divided into three parts.The introduction describes the theoretical and practical significance of this topic. And introduce the current research status on the topic of the film history in high school history textbook, and the research method of the thesis.The body is divided into three parts. The first part defines the role of "film history" in the various versions of textbook, and analyzes how the "film history" responds to the requirements of the "New Curriculum Standard" in each version to. Then compare and analyze the "film history "in every edition from a macroscopic perspective.The second part is the focus of this thesis. Taking the "film history" content of each textbook as an independent unit, through analyzing the teaching materials and supplementing background materials, then drawing the characteristics of each textbook in film history. Finally, point out the co-exist problems and deficiencies in "film history" of various teaching materials.In the third part, according to the conclusion of earlier studies and actual situation of teaching, the author integrates the materials that may be useful in the teaching of "film history". First, the author states that when introducing the development of the film, we should pay particular attention to the combination of economic and political development, so as to form an organic link in the text. Then the author introduces some books on film history and several common video source which may be used in the lesson preparation.
