Mathematics is an abstract subject. Both teaching resources and teachingequipment were not enough in countryside middle school, it was very difficult to takea Intuitive Mathematics Teaching by Modern teaching tools. In this background, raisethe empirical research of using material object assist mathematics teaching incountryside junior middle school. Research if the visual teaching of using materialobject assist mathematics teaching is the same as using modern teaching tools.First, through the literature review, summarize the condition of using materialobject assist mathematics teaching in domestic and foreign. Define connotation ofusing material object assist mathematics teaching. Explain the background andsignificance of the research. Second, by doing a survey at2middle school of FeilaixiaTown, students believe that teacher using teaching tools in mathematics teaching canhelp student’s learning. But in fact, the middle school of Feilaixia town is lack ofmodern teaching tools and the equipment, which make a bad effect to the teaching. Inthe case, Advocate using material object assist mathematics teaching in countrysidemiddle school. Then, take the educational experiment. the experimental process asfollowing. do a Preliminary study to make sure there were two parallel classes, takeone as experimental class, the other one as a reference, After the experiment, test themark and investigate the emotion, attitude,values of learning maths. By analyzing thedata with SPSS software. We found that mark of experimental class is higher than thereference one. Using material object assist mathematics teaching can stimulatestudents’ interest, Change the attitude of learning mathematics, Enhance the will oflearning mathematics, Form a positive value of Mathematics. Finally, base on theempirical research, we can use material object assist mathematics teaching incountryside middle school or the similar schools, we also promote using materialobject assist mathematics teaching even in those schools which have rich teachingresource and the adequate Teaching equipment.
