New curriculum reform is one campaign full of emancipating the mind andinnovation. At the same time, it’s a challenge to traditional teaching full of drawback,and a new beginning of basic education in our country. The setting of comprehensiveinquiry courses is one highlight in ideological and political discipline of newcurriculum. How to improve the effectiveness of teaching on political comprehensiveinquiry courses in senior middle school is an inevitable issue in the process of newcurriculum reform. Improving the effectiveness of teaching is combining advancedidea and the teaching of the comprehensive inquiry courses.This report together divides into three parts. Firstly, discussing the connotation,the features, the teaching principles and so on in effective teaching of comprehensiveinquiry courses in senior school; secondly, carried on the reality to the effectiveteaching on comprehensive inquiry courses in senior middle school. The mainanalysis is the performance and the influencing factors of inefficient teaching. Thirdly,carried on operability strategy on how to improve the effectiveness of teaching onpolitical comprehensive inquiry courses.
