Reforms of ideological and political courses in senior middle school have begun since Standard of Ideological and Political Courses in Senior Middle School(Experimental Draft) came out in 2004.At the time of reforms in new courses being underway all around,the idea that the new courses are carried out is deeply rooted among the people gradually.Besides,series of changes are taking place in ideological and political courses in senior middle school.However,if the changing of ideological and political courses in senior middle school is effective is worth our thinking.The author feels discussion on the issue of effective teaching of ideological and political courses in senior middle school from the angle of reason quite necessary according to his own experience of being a ideological and political teacher in senior middle school.Foreign and domestic studies of effective teaching all develop from the study of teachers' effective teaching to the study of students' activities in effective teaching step by step.And then there will be the study of activities between teachers and students when they are doing effective teaching.Under the guide of effective teaching theory,some domestic studies are based on the effective teaching in different courses.However,there are few studies about effective teaching of ideological and political courses in senior middle school.In addition,those studies are mainly about teachers' effective teaching,lacking of the other aspect—the students' effective teaching.Moreover, the studies failed to talk about ideological and political courses in senior middle school among complicate factors.So this article,which has great significance for the study on effective teaching, will talk about Effective Teaching of Ideological and Political Courses in Senior Middle School.In terms of theory,it is the rethink facing the practice of education,linking the gap between educational theory and practice;In terms of practice,it is the examination on reforms of new courses.To study the implication of effective teaching,this article begins with the implication of efficiency and teaching.And it gets the answer that effective teaching means the education with efficient processes of teaching which accords with the teaching rules;the effective teaching is effective,beneficial and efficient.After clearing the implication of ideological and political courses in senior middle school, their characteristics are discussed further.And then get to know that the ordinary characteristics of effective teaching are the eager suitable for teaching goal,teacher having distinct methodological consciousness when he is reaching,teacher and student getting on well with each other,lectures given dearly,student developing to the best,and making full use of time,and based on which,the author puts forward that except the ordinary characteristics of effective teaching.There are other characteristics of ideological and political courses in senior middle school like combining education with personality,advancing with time and practice in terms of specificity of senior middle school ideological and political courses.After having made clear what are ideological and political courses in senior middle school, the article makes an effort to discuss how to make effective teaching true.So there will be a study on the strategies for ideological and political courses in senior middle school in part 3.And it will discuss the strategies for effective teaching,which are preoperational,practical and commented strategies.The discussion on the strategies of effective teaching in this article is idea changing; make the idea adapted to effective teaching;the students will have not only situation analysis,but also scientific creation of teaching;they can choose the proper way of learning and teaching.The practical strategies of effective teaching are mainly discussed in three aspects --- encouragement, asking and discussion.Finally,the commented strategies will be discussed by choosing the standard examination and pocket test after cleating the standard of it.
