At present,the instillation teaching method is generally adopted in senior high school ideological and political course and still in use today,due to its significant effect on improving the academic performance of students.While,this method always neglects the cultivation for the initiative,creative thinking and inquiry ability of students.Now,the competition between countries is increasingly fierce.The contemporary international competition is the competition of scientific strength and innovation ability.Since the eighteenth CPC national congress,the CPC central committee has put forward the "four confidences",namely "confidence in the path,theory,system and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics",which are all closely related to the ideological and political course.And on the CPC's theoretical innovation and practical problem,the CPC central committee has clearly pointed out that "our party was always able to win victory after going through the tests and hardships,profiting from making continuous innovations in practice and theory",and "the vitality of Marxism is always eternal,due to the unification of upholding Marxism and developing Marxism and the continuous theoretical creation in combination with new practice".These require that we should cultivate young students,who are the builders and successors of our party and country,to possess the consciousness and ability in innovation of political theory.At the same time,our country is now vigorously implementing new measures of "innovation and entrepreneurship",making innovation to be the driving force for China's development,and the banner of realizing the "Chinese dream" will be carried by innovative talents.Therefore,under the background of new age,we should look for the countermeasures to improve the application of inquiry teaching in senior high school ideological and political course,in order to constantly enrich and improve the theoretical system of senior high school ideological and political teaching with promoting the overall development and active innovation of students as the fundamental purpose.So,this paper is presented to systematically analyze the current situation and problems of the application for inquiry teaching in senior high school ideological and political course by investigation and literature methods,and some corresponding improvement measures are then put forward.
