Within10years, the Chinese education has changed a lot. This course reform aims toimprove national quality, and the guiding ideology of the reform is pushing forwardeducation for all-round development, cultivating initiative spirit and activity of Chinesestudents. It also claims that basic education should meet the needs of students’development and bring up their learning capacity and desire.This thesis mainly discusses the problems the related with P.E. teachers in primaryand middle schools and how they employ the application of cooperative learning method inteaching activity. It uses literature data, observation investigation, interview andstatistical analysis of the current application of P.E as main methods to analyze teachers’cooperative learning and teaching method. Cooperative learning is a significantbreakthrough and complementarity of the traditional learning organization, it provides amedia for learners to communicate, interact and share the achievements at the same time.The establishment of cooperative learning can be seen as a chance for students to learnfrom each other and participate in the learning process positively., For one thing, it can alsohelp the students to share the learning tasks and complete the sophisticated task which cannot be realized by individual. what is more, this method is favorable to lighten thepressure of competition in the learning environment, reduce learning anxiety, improvestudents’ introjection in teaching activities, meet the psychological needs of students; Foranother, it stimulates and nourishes the students’ learning motivation all at once. While payattention to the learning capacity, it pays emphasize on improving students’ ability, trainingtheir thoughts and cultivating their social responsibility and sense of community. The resultis that the ideas of the new teaching method are well reflected in the development ofstudents’ inner quality.Basing on a lot of research on sports teaching practice class, we reached the followingconclusion: first, the goal of cooperative learning of sports is the starting point of thecooperative group learning, and it is also the foundation of choosing teaching strategiesand evaluating learning effects of the students. Therefore, the teacher should work outniche targeting and proper instructional objectives according to the students’ physical andpsychological need Second, in sports cooperation study, sports teachers need to divide thelearning teamcarefully. With regard to the specific sports cooperation in teaching practice,the teachers should ensure the size of each learning team according to the specific teachingaim, teaching content and teaching conditions. Third, the key to realize the teamcooperation is to cultivate cooperative consciousness and strengthen cooperation skills. Fourth, cooperative activities of learning group are the central part of the sportscooperation study, the teachers must plan the instructional design thoughtfully. Fifth, groupachievement report and display, is the intuitionistic method of testing the effect ofcooperative learning sixth, sports cooperative learning and teaching evaluation is based onanalyzing and explaining. Cooperative learning should not only pay attention to thestudents’ technical ability of sports but also emphasize the students’ ability ofcommunication and solving problems as well as promoting students’ physical andpsychological health development.
