Higher vocational colleges in higher vocational education courses education is animportant part in the system of, with higher vocational education should be positive toprofessional post skills as the training goal of teaching reform tide. This paper the wholegroup of extraction Hunan railway institute of technology of profession of rail transit isfirst grade urban rail vehicle electrical professional four class160students to be theobjects, the research "to the vocational ability is the direction of higher vocationalpractical physical education curriculum teaching reform by using the literature materialmethod, expert interview, questionnaire, experimental method, mathematical statistics,logic analysis and other methods, the school sports teaching investigation and analysisof the present situation of the basis, according to the higher vocational college physicaleducation curriculum teaching reform and development trend, put forward" tovocational ability is the direction of the physical education teaching reform ideas, andcarry out the "vocational practical" sports teaching reform experiment. The results:(1)the students to "practical sports" by don’t understand73.75%of cognitive increased100%;(2) think that is necessary and it is necessary to offer practical vocationalteaching of PE students increased from16.25%to68.75%;(3) the students before thenumber of physical education is very like ratio is31.25%, after the experimentpercentage increase that to57.5%;(4) the students before the sports scores excellencerate ratio by12.5%, after the experiment students sports scores of excellence rate rose to28.75%;(5) the students function and physical quality data are higher than those in thecontrol group (6) before the good exercise habits of number only12.5%, after theexperiment to26.25%.
