| The key concept of the New Curriculum Standard is to improve students’development in a more effective way. It is the self-reflection study method that helpsachieve the goal of students’ development. This thesis is based on our school’s “casestudy teaching methodâ€, which studies the students’ self-reflection ability tomathematics learning with the guidance of “case study teaching methodâ€. It aims atfinding out the meaning and means of the cultivation for students’ self-reflectionability to mathematics with the guidance of “case study teaching methodâ€.By the means of a combination of reference and practice research, with theinformation from reference material, surveys, and individual cases, this thesisfocuses on researching the cultivation for students’ self-reflection ability tomathematics learning with the guidance of “case study teaching methodâ€. The articlenot only indentifies the “case study teaching method†and “students’ self-reflectionability to mathematicsâ€, but also studies the meaning of “case study teachingmethod†based on the theoretical basis. In addition, it analyses the theoretical basisof “case study teaching methodâ€, as well as its model and how it affects senior highstudents’ self-reflection ability to mathematics learning. And it also puts forwardsome means on how to cultivate students’ self-reflection ability to mathematicslearning with the guidance of “case study teaching methodâ€.After studying means of the cultivation for students’ self-reflection ability tomathematics with the guidance of “case study teaching methodâ€, we find that “casestudy teaching method†not only highlights the content of cultivation for students’self-reflection ability, but also strengthens students’ self-reflection ability for thebefore, during and after lesson. With some extra after-class reflection notes and error collection books, the “case study teaching method†has indeed reached manyachievement, including ensuring the student-centre concept, inspiring students’brainstorming, making the lessons more efficient and wide-spread, enabling thecommunication between teachers and students, and so on. With the assist of the“case study†method, students’ self-reflection ability to mathematics is nowcultivated well. |
