With the gradual development of the basic educational curriculum reform, it isbecoming an important and urgent task for our English teaching staff to construct theEnglish that fits in with the new curriculum reform for senior English.English learning under the new curriculum reform’s aim is to foster students ’self-learning ability and comprehensive language abilities, learn English not only forexamination, also working for the future, even life-long service.This article first describes the efficient classroom theory and related research athome and abroad. Describes autonomous learning and cooperative learning, researchstudy of overall situation, on which three types of learning from a different perspectiveabout their characteristics.
