In this study the uses and gratifications was applied to investigate the digitaleducaitonal resources users’ gratifications and their relationship with motivations andfrequncy/depth of utilization.Through the data analysis and attribution analysis, proposesome improvement strategies on the the building of the university digital educationresource collection in Northern Jiangsu.The article is logically divided into the following three parts: In the first, therelevant concepts was been definined and the theory was been elaborated. Second,integrated questionnaire survey/factor analysis/correlation analysis method into theanalysis of the use and gratification of digital educational resources of Northern Jiangsuuniversity users(including teachers and students). Last, Comprehensive data analysis todraw research summary, and give some related strategies on the basis of attributionanalysis.Part I: The paper have gived some document analysis about concepts of digitaleducational resources,"Uses and gratifications theory, research of digital educationalresources recently. Combined the feature of the educational resources with theMedia-use model the paper present the “Uses and gratifications model” of digitaleducational resources.Part II: Firstly,the paper desined a questionnaire and made the reliability andvalidity analysis which based on the document summary about use and gratificationmodel.secondly,neglect the origin of digital resources,the paper had a designed aquestionnaire which focused on the Motivation, use, satisfaction.In the end, the paperproposed some hypothesis and examined it with the method of described analysis/Comparison of mean differences/Correlation analysis/factor analysis.Part III:based on the analysis of use and gratification of digital educationalresources,the paper attribute the existed problem as followings: Management system, "one size fits all"; Resources building "one-sided"; Use of resources "unconscious";Resources populized is "no to implementation". In the end, there are some improvedstrategies such as Change our concepts and carry out flexible multi-managementsystem; Based on the user, create a center service system for users’ demand; Openpermissions, creat automatic expansion resource platform; Invest heavily in training,foster user awareness of the use of resources; Widely popularized,to create aprocess-oriented educational resources; Strengthen the maintenance and rich theconstruction of educational resources connotation.
