With the depth of teachers’ professional development, Teacher training has been raised to the status of the national strategy. Teacher training philosophy reflects the trend of more and more pragmatic, more and more close to the actual needs of teachers about teacher training. However, China’s current teacher training, especially the teacher training in rural areas exists to the inefficiency. One of the important reasons is the narrowing of teacher training needs of the meaning,And teacher training needs analysis is not in place, too.In this study, Author retrials the meaning of the training needs of teachers:the natural needs and real demand、long-term needs and the current demand、common needs and individual needs,In addition, teacher training needs has the characteristics of hidden and dynamic. How can I find out the real training needs of teachers? And I carry out an exploration of the training needs analysis. On the basis of analysis of existing research, I determine the teacher training needs analysis in this study:policy objectives, competency, performance issues and career. In order to verify the scientific nature, effectiveness and feasibility of the analysis techniques, In this study, I take the parts of rural junior high school teacher in Gansu Province for example, and attempt to apply the analytical techniques. Does the training needs come from this analysis technology meets the needs of rural teachers? Then I conduct affirmance of them. According to the analysis of training needs and to confirm the results, I find the important aspects those rural teachers need to strengthen or concern:teachers’ knowledge,instructional design and organization, teaching evaluation, information technology, school-based curriculum and teaching and research, research projects, professional identity and self-development, healthy development of body and mind of teachers and students.The training needs analysis in this study effectively overcomes the limitation of a method alone application. Secondly, each analysis of subject and object do not have to face mask, simply analyzes the part of the most adept; Thirdly, We can take uses of the convenient resources effectively, So that analysis of the results not only saves time but also is very scientific. In addition, the technology has deduced together that can conducive to form the courses of the unified rural junior high school teacher training.
