With the rapid development of modern science and technology, it is difficult tochange the current teaching situation and embody the educational ideas of newcurriculum if traditional teaching method and approach are still used in currentteaching. Language game advocated that the spirite of language game ought topenetrate into Chinese class and closely relate with students’ life. Teachers shouldcultivate relaxing, happy and effective learning circumstance. Language game offereda new way for the realization of educational ideas advocated by new curriculum. Thisthesis set primary and secondary Chinese teaching for example, led the spirite oflanguage game into teaching with relative learning theory as direction, and prompteda serious operational strategies for the application of language game in classroomteaching.This thesis explored deeply Weigstan’s language game and draw a conclusionthat the spitite of subject and participant embodied in language game was consistentwith the ideas of new curriculum. Language game not only made the teaching processmore interesting and vital, but also was benefical for cultivating students’ activity andcrestivity, especially training students’ language expressive ability and inspiringstudents’ learning interest, which was a positive exploration based on current teachingmodel.Firstly, it investigated and studied the concept and characteristics of languagegame and revealed the significance of games to people especially children. Then,based on investigations, the author analysied the current application stituation oflanguage game in Chinese teaching, summarized some problems and proposedcorresponding advices. Finally, it put forward some operational strategies on how toemploy language game into Chinese teaching from literature teaching, readingteaching, oral teaching and comprehensive teaching. Duing this period, case analysiswas conducted to prove that language game being pentrated in Chinese teaching couldbe operated other than idle.This research aimed at exploring how to apply language game into Chineseteaching and put forward some operational strategies, bring some consideration andrecommendation to educators, further studied the rules of language game and education. It also directed at making classroom teaching more vital, making childrenlike learning as well as games, making curriculum inspire students’ heart just likegames and let them learn in games and play games in learning. It also hoped topromote curriculum researches more multiple and bring new ideas to curriculmrevelotion.
