Study On The Problem Of Patriotism Education Of Students Among National Regions

Patriotism education on students of middle school plays a veryimportant role in the whole middle school ideological and political education.As Jiang Zemin emphasized："In order to put our career continues toprogress, we must further strengthen the patriotism education on everyone,especially on those middle school students of national areas.". Nowadays weare facing more complex and changing social environment, patriotismeducation on middle school students in national regions is strategicallysignificant. Strengthening national patriotic education on high school studentsin national regions is not only good to the healthy growth of the students,good for the harmonious development of the minority areas, but it would alsoenhance the patriotic sense of responsibility of middle school students amongnational regions,which is related to our whole nation’s prosperity. Therefore,with the guide of patriotism, We should help them build a strong sense ofpatriotism; We should also guide the students to make their own personalgoals in line with the goal of development of our whole nation, which is theultimate goal of middle school students education.This article is based on the questionnaire investigation of six highschools in Gannan Tibetan autonomous regions of Gansu province, and itanalyzes the concrete problems and reasons, and then proposes some specificcountermeasures and suggestions.This paper is divided into four parts：The first part starts with theresearch of patriotism education on high school students in minority areas andit defines the meaning, content and characteristics of patriotism education；Part two strengthens the significance of patriotism education from fiveaspects and then it explains why it is imperative to enhance patrioticeducation in those minority areas；Part stree is based on the survey of patriotism education of students in six junior high schools from GannanTibetan autonomous regions of Gansu province, and it conducts detailedanalysis of specific reasons and causes for existing problems；Part four putsforward according countermeasures to those problems mentioned above and itdiscusses in detail about the effectiveness of those countermeasures.
