The family is the cell of society, also one of the most important activity environment for individual, Parent-child relationship is also everyone came to the world’s first relationship, it is very important to each person’s physical and mental health. Adolescence is a transition stage in the path of growth for people, this stage children are more sensitive to the same when dealing with parent-child relationship are also more prone to conflict and contradiction. The Parent-child group in this article is also based on this reality and local demand to organize activities.The group work is one of the three methods of social work,2009, the author and the team have taken use of group work to resolve the contradictions of the parent-child relationship in Beichuan. In general, the team’s goal is largely achieved. The mostly used theory in the process of conducting group work is the theory of strength perspective, strength perspective is a model of social work practice, focusing on mining the client’s potential, a theoretical paradigm that is also imported from the West. In this paper, the analysis focuses on the strength perspective principles and concepts, from what is strength perspective, why use it in the parent-child group, how the effect of the activities carried out and reflect on the basis of advantage of activities and the indigenization of social work.Although this paper concludes that the dominant perspective is still under development,show in:First, the theory is not perfect, there is no formation of a theoretical system; Second,strength perspective is still stuck in the stage of theoretical development, the guiding role of the professional practice of social work is also reflected inadequate. But the author believe the strength perspective after localization studies, combination of specific work experience and value of traditional will be a greater level of use will be further promotion.The significance of this article is to use strength perspective into the group work, Is a combination of social work theory and practice, While also reflect on the parent-child relationship nowadays, strength perspective creatively used into the study of parent-child relationship, to open up the space of the strength perspective in family education.
