In the rapid development of today’s global economy, education has become the world’srecognized as the primary factor in economic development. In order to improve the qualityof the whole people must develop education, and the quality of teachers has become the keyto improve the quality of education. Teacher education is our country listed to the positionof preferential development, learning from the advanced experience of foreign countries andthe mode of education to improve our level of teacher education have a tremendous role inpromoting. The PDS pattern is a very excellent teacher education model.At the beginning of the paper, the author firstly discussed the American primary andsecondary school teachers’ in-service education and the development of the internal drivingforce, which is directly affects the United States Middle and primary school teacherprofessional improvement and PDS pattern to establish the background;In the secondchapter, the author first introduced the system of PDS pattern development, is advantageousto the PDS pattern has a sense of the whole, then elaborated with emphasis in the PDSpattern of American primary and middle school teachers’ in-service professionaldevelopment; The third chapter analyzes in detail the PDS pattern of American primary andsecondary school teachers’ in-service professional development advantage, excellentexperience to analyze only for us to learn;The fourth chapter is by learning the successfulexperience of the American PDS pattern, derived some inspiration contribute to thedevelopment of teacher education in China.According to the United States of primary and middle school teachers’ in-serviceprofessional development perspective, to PDS pattern to promote teachers’ professionaldevelopment way and experience undertook systematic research and analysis, the essaymade an effort to reflect the true and complete responses in primary and secondary schoolteachers in the PDS pattern of professional development, with a view to China ’s primaryand middle school teachers’ professional development to provide some valuable experienceand suggestions.
