This paper was focused on case analysis of homework-mode reform based on the effectiveness promotion of ideology and morality course according to the requirements of junior high school education reform. The author designed parent-child interaction homework with the ideology and morality course teaching material (Shanghai edition), assumed practicing subject education with resources of parents and doing case analysis on the class eight grade one of S school.This paper first analyzed the present situation of ideology and morality course homework for junior high school and the development in this area home and abroad. Based on all mentioned above the fundamental research target of this paper was brought:the effect in accomplishing the teaching target (emotional, attitude and values) of junior high school ideology and morality course on grade one. The main content of research was the design and implementation of parent-child interaction homework.In the second part of this paper the research method was discussed:the selection of cases and reasons; the methods for entering the site of case; the methods of building and maintaining the relationship with research targets; the methods of collecting and analyzing materials and the moral consideration on this case.The third part of this paper was focused on the course of parent-child interaction homework of ideology and morality course:preparation, implementation and summarization.The parent-child interaction homework designed for the first time was emphatically analyzed.The author analyzed the case theoretically in the fourth part of this paper:the ideas of parent-child interaction homework were build on the Piaget’s moral theory of cognitive development, Dewey’s pragmatism education theory and constructivist theory and the educational meaning of this case was revealed. The self-evaluation was carried out according to the questionnaire from the parents and their children.Finally the author summarized the whole case study:the results showed that the parent-child interaction homework could effectively motivated the student’s learning interest to promote the effectiveness of ideology and morality course and also could work as bridges for communication between parents and children. The prospects of this research were also proposed at last:anti-formalization; dilemma between the factuality of parent-child interaction homework and secret protection; evaluation of parent-child interaction homework and further expansion of home education from parent-child interaction homework mode.
