Since the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and The General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Further Reducing the Homework Burden and Off-campus Training Burden of Students in the Compulsory education stage,the work of reducing the burden of compulsory education stage is in full swing.Optimizing homework design is an important part of reducing the homework burden for students and improving the quality of homework.Based on the background of "double reduction",this paper takes the content of the second Volume of Mathematics textbook of the first grade of junior high school from People’s Education Press as an example to discuss how to design math homework after class to achieve the goal of reducing the homework burden and improving the homework quality.The purpose of this paper is to understand the first grade mathematics homework layout,completion and correction,students’ homework burden and homework quality status;Based on the analysis of the survey results,the design strategies of the first grade mathematics homework are obtained.Based on this,this paper adopts the questionnaire survey method,statistical analysis method,interview method to investigate the opinions of teachers and students in the first grade of junior high school on math homework design,the status quo of math homework assignment,completion and correction,the status quo of students’ math homework burden and math homework quality.And through the literature research method and combined with the survey results to get the homework design strategies to reduce the homework burden and improve the quality.Then,the achievement effect of the goal of reducing the burden and improving the quality of the homework design strategies are tested by experimental method,and the advantages and disadvantages of the homework design strategies are analyzed.Through the research,the conclusions are as follows: At present,the mathematics homework design of the first grade of junior middle school is lack of pertinence,stratification,cooperation and communication,interest,life and systematic;The math homework burden of students with different interest level has significant difference;There are also significant differences in math learning results among students with different math homework burdens.The score of math homework burden is negatively correlated with the score of math learning,while the score of math homework quality is positively correlated with the score of math learning.Secondly,combining educational theories and survey results,the following strategies are obtained to achieve the goal of "reducing the homework burden and improving the homework quality" of math homework design: select homework tasks and improve the pertinence of homework;Clear learning situation,implement dynamic stratification;Encourage cooperation and exchange,strengthen operation feedback;Enrich the forms of tasks,improve the interest of homework;Close to the real life,give play to the value of mathematics;Attach importance to summarizing and implementing knowledge construction.Thirdly,through the analysis of the experimental results,it is found that the above math homework design strategies have a positive effect on improving the quality of math homework and reducing the burden of math homework for students,so as to achieve the goal of reducing the homework burden and improving the homework quality.
