After a decade of development, E-learning training model has beenwidely used in the enterprise. It has the following advantages: liberation of theemployees’ time and space, greatly reducing organizational costs, standardization theteaching and facilitation training organization and management. However, comparedwith the developed countries, Chinese E-learning application is after behind in coverage,innovative application mode, staff awareness of self-directed learning, course content.The enterprise E-learning content construction, namely, E-learning courseware quality isan important factor influencing the effectiveness of training. The arrangement ofcourseware content, specific page presents and courseware interactive factors jointlydetermine E-learning courseware quality.Taking the real E-learning project human resources and remuneration and benefits ofthe Company Y for example, this paper explores how to develop and improve E-learningcourseware so that employees can reach their learning goals in a limited period of time. Itis approached from two aspects: instructional design and instructional message design.This research is based on the following theories: learning theory, adult learning theory,instructional design theory, the motive principle and learning principles of instructionalmessage design theory.This paper identifies currently used courseware and analyzes seven problems:1) lackof pre-analysis;2) little interaction;3) lack of feedback;4) lack of effective review andsummary;5) lack of learning support;6) inappropriate selection of pictures;7)unreasonable text layout. Based on the above analysis, the paper puts forward a total ofeight suggestions as to how to improve the courseware:1) rearrange the teachingsequence;2) begin teaching content via question;3) use a variety of interactive ways;4)timely review and summary;5) provide timely and effectively feedback;6) use broadand shallow menu structure;7) choose the dual learning navigation design;8) selectappropriate elements of the screen.The author compares part of the courseware before and after the revision. Thesurvey carried out shows that the revision edition is more effective in the teaching effectand learners’ satisfaction. The author considers that it will be better if the guidance figures are set and the Q&A session is added before the test.
