With the burgeoning fierce competitions and growing demands fortalents among enterprises, human resources for enterprise have relatively developed alot rapidly, attested especially to the training industry, whose target is to get their staffself-improved and self-promoted through various kinds of training plans andprograms, has been attracting more and more attention and recognition ofbusinessmen and companies, most of which have arranged and undertook skilltraining for their employees regardless of the cost and expenditure. Training industry,served not only as a supplementary education for the workmen, but also a kind ofinvestment, can greatly increase and accelerate the accumulation of human resourcescapital. Compared with the traditional training method,“Experiential Training” is ofbetter remarkable effect. But the latter one has hardly put into use particularly incorporate training room except few fragments of assumption during my process ofliterature review home and abroad. Based on the above literature, this paper, on theone hand, teases out some of theoretical basis of experiential learning theory and thedevelopment process of the sort; on the other hand, digs into the history ofexperiential learning. Then the thesis forms its own definition of experiential learningin the text: experiential learning is a kind of learner-centered learning method, whosecarrying out helps product theoretical foundation of this thesis through a combinationof practice and reflect on the knowledge, skills and attitudes; at the same time, thepaper explores further the past achievement of experiential learning theory applied athome and abroad; and summarizes the shortcomings and limitations of this newapproach, for present research shows more concern about its applications to specificsubjects and business outdoor training courses without introducing it to indoortraining courses on business. Under the foundation of all this formulates myresearching method. Taking the definition and researching method for references, thisarticle, from the perspective of corporation training and adult education, shows us firstthe five important principles of course designing followed by the experiential learningtheory: learner-centered experience, creation of a good learning environment,instructor’s guiding role, encouragement of communication and collaboration,attention to the results of experience; then takes “seven Habits of Highly Effective People” course as an example, develops and studies “5plus2experiential learningcourse”, appending accessible materials and information, like the instructor manual,instructor PPT, student manuals, and so on; finally gives my own views on the valueof the course from the perspective of four evaluation model for evaluating courses.
