Study On The Higher Vocational Education Of Jinlin Province Based On The Talents And Agriculture Structure

Taking service as the aim and the employment as the guidance, Vocational education, as a part of the higher education system, is closely related to the local economy, and the two of them are mutually dependent and promoted. The direct target of Vocational education is to cultivate well-qualified applied-technique-oriented personnel at the front line of production, construction, management and service. The close relationship between the Vocational Education and the local economy decided that the personnel type and the courses in the vocational colleges should meet the needs of the local economy.JinLin province is one of the largest agricultural provinces of our country; its development status plays a very important role in the whole economic structure. And, the talent is the key factor for the development of the industry. In this case, this paper studies the relationship of the Higher Vocational colleges and the agricultural development status. The author used literature research, case analysis and other methods to analyze the agricultural state, the personnel state of JinLin province and the development status of the vocational and technical schools in JinLin province.However, the result shows that the degree of the agreement between the local industry structure and the vocational education is far inadequate. Which makes the knowledge, technique and the ideas possed by the graduates from the vocational schools do not meet the needs of the society and the development of the local economy. Some of the colleges blindly pursuits the marks the students got from tests, so that their education drift off the original aims of higher vocational education. The problems lie in the following aspects:the dislocation of the agricultural talents, the education degree of the farmers is low; the talents structure does not cater to the construction of the higher vocational schools, and etc.According to the problems above, this paper, on one hand, summarized the useful conditions which benefit the development of the higher vocational schools; On the other hand, analyzed the deep causes of the contractions between the personnel supply and the needs of the industry. Finally, in order to promote the agriculture development, the author proposed some advices and suggestions based on the present state of JinLin province, the cooperation between colleges and enterprises, courses and the teaching methods.
