| Education is the basis of setting a country, and talent is thesource for strengthening a country. Physical education plays animportant role in promoting school physical education andcultivating the high-quality talent. In China as a developingcountry, the physical education level in school for basic educationhas direct effect for the whole level of quality-oriented education.Physical education, as an essential content of school education,needs to follow the development of education reformation, inorder to play its role under the quality-oriented education.Physical education is not only an important part to assure studentsquality comprehensive development, but also one of three basiceducation contents, which are character, intelligence and PEeducation. Within those elements, the physical education of juniorhigh school, which pays more attention on teenagers, is the mostimportant part in physical education research.This article mainly analyze the physical education by usingliterature, expert interviews, questionnaire, mathematical statisticsways, taking the480students and24PE teachers from eight keyjunior high school as the research object,setting the qualificationof PE teachers, students status, the situation of PhysicalEducation,PE material resources as the main line.By the comparison and analysis for Physical Educationcurrent Status of Dalian key junior high school, we discuss andanalysis the major problems and get the following conclusions:In recent years, junior high schools in Dalian pay more attentionon physical education, and improve a lot on all aspects.On PE teachers, their education level and qualifications can meetnational requirements; from further education, computer skillsand foreign languages, they also have a certain level. However,it’s not so balanced on the proportion of the gender and the agestructure.Because of the attention to Physical Education and theemphasis on quality education in the whole country, student haspositive and adequate recognition, and shows great interest in PE.But due to current PE curriculum arrangement have different preferences, student has less interest on education format andmethods.The development of PE in school has favorable trends. Forexample, the second in-class activities, extracurricular trainingcourses, class sports competitions all achieve good results.However the students’ requirements on modern fashion sports andlong-term effect of physical quality training can not be mettemporarily. |
