Since Chinese language was established its own subjects in the late Qing dynasty, Chinese education had got wide attention of all social sectors, and a large number of intellectuals explored it actively with the integration of the time thinking, thus modern sense of the language education of modern sense started and continued to develop.20,30era of the20th century is an extremely important part in the history of language education, but the most study for this stage limits the overall macro-inspection and lack detailed analysis. Yangzhou Middle School was one of the famous secondary schools at that time, which brought up a lot of excellent people. From1927to1937Yangzhou Middle School began to win its fame, all teaching subjects gained considerable development, and Chinese education also had its own characteristics, which contained a number of valuable experiences. The language education of Yangzhou Middle School has become history, but the problem of language education in secondary schools we are facing today has the shadow of history, so there is a certain reference value in the practice of language education in Yangzhou Middle School. We should review the early development of language education in Yangzhou Middle School, and then ponder earnestly and summarize. It will be useful to improve the current quality of language education.Through the mining and finishing historical materials, the article grasps the core issues of language education, and discusses them explicitly in order to achieve the unity of history and logic. The research includes four parts in total except the conclusion.The first part is preface, it clarifies the meaning of the research about the Chinese education research of Yangzhou Middle School from1927to1937, and the reason that choose Yangzhou Middle School as the breakthrough point, including the research objects, the paper innovations and the methods. In the second part the situation of Yangzhou Middle School is briefly introduced, it mainly includes as follows:the establishment of the school, president Zhouhoushu, the school management, various branches teaching in early Yangzhou Middle School, which aims at explaining the development of the language education in early Yangzhou Middle School cannot be separated from the soil of Yangzhou Middle School.There is a concrete analysis of the language education in early Yangzhou Middle School in the third part. For highlighting the pertinence, also due to the lack of historical materials, this part focuses on the key problems, namely, the language education goals, reading teaching, writing teaching, Chinese teachers, language education results. In this paper every specific fields about early Yangzhou Middle School are not explored seriously, but we made an overall discussion of the core issue in the development of language education.The fourth part is where the purpose. Historical research is mainly for the time being. Combining with the reality of the language education in early Yangzhou Middle School and contacting the present situation of the language education, the paper will try to put forward its own suggestions to improve the teaching quality of language education effectively.
