Information technology is the knowledge and ability of information access, anaysis, procee and utilization. It is the totality of communications technology, computer technology, multimedia technology and network technology,"integration of information technology and curriculum" refers to a new teaching method by organically interigating information technology, information resources, information methods, human resourses and curriculum to carry out a task in the teaching process. It produces a great effect on learning when applied to teaching, which lies in the variation on the demonstration of teaching content. Compared with previous one, the learning environment characterized by multimedia and network presents new features, like abundance in resourses, integrativity, interactivity and openness. This features meet the demands of learning in an information society, which leads to good effects.This research brings forward a research method with an integration of information technology and spoken English teaching. The research is carried out on the integration of information technology and spoken English teaching in accordance with systemetic and integrated methodology. Above all, the paper makes a curriculum diagnosis on the spoken English teaching of high schools, so as to classify the curriculum content. Next is to find out the point for information technology and a spoken English class to be integrated. The paper lists the advantages of information technology through systemetic analysis, classifies the information environment and studies the characteristics and the corresponding teaching modes accessible of each category. We can choose appropriate teaching methods and make resoures designation according to the curriculum content, and then execute it by using the corresponding information environment. After long-term study and teaching experimentation, I acknowledged some experience on spoken English teaching, in hope that it can be of help for the students’study of spoken English and develop their ability of communication.
