The Research On The Evaluation Model Of Students’ Grades

The evaluation of the student is a vital factor in the process of teaching, which consists of many elements, among which the evaluation of grades is the most visual. However, on account of the one-sidedness of grades, they can hardly reflect the learning state of a student. Thus, the essay makes use of an advanced method to deal with grades of the student, in which case, the student’s learning state within a certain period can be reflected effectively. First of all, the software SPSS is used to analyze the students’ learning state; and in order to rule out the possibility of unfairness resulted from the student’s former grades, the essay puts forward two ways to evaluate a student:1) according to the weakness of using average score,"improved average score" is put forward based on liner regression. Using MATLAB to get every student’s "static grades", it makes use of the figure to evaluate the student’s learning level at present;2) by using Performance Analysis in enterprises, and Data Envelopment Analysis, it can analyze the student’s dynamical learning level. Using LINGO, MATLAB to get every student’s "dynamic grades" to decide the degree to which the student is working.According to the method raised above the static and dynamic evaluation model are established, by which one can predict the student’s future grades in the next two terms; meanwhile, the total grades can be calculated by the model "Total score=static score+dynamic score". In this way, the student’s rank can be figured out, and be used to best evaluate the student’s learning state.
