In the era of globalization, a growing number of students and scholars from all over the world leave their countries for the United States to pursue the better academic environment there. In order to attract more talents, European countries has implemented a series of educational reforms, such as Bologna Process, Erasmus Program, and etc. As a central role of the E.U., France has actively promoted the integration of European higher education since1990s. Meanwhile, France itself has also enacted and implemented a series of educational policies. In2006, the French government launched one of its most ambitious schemes, that is, the restructuring, which has greatly changed the situation and construction of French higher education. At the same time, however, the scheme also brings some new crisis to French higher education. It seems that France choose to Americanize its own higher education institutions. The French experiences might be a good reference to China’s higher education system.
