At present,the number of children left-behind in our country is about 50 million, family care unfavorable,the lack of school education and responsibility of the rural community make the education of children remain a growing problem,which directly affected the development of rural population and social harmony.Therefore,Research on the education of children left-behind has important theoretical significance and practical significance.The objective of this study was to explore the education issues of children left-behind in China's rural areas.By focusing on the children's families,schools,and the rural communities,questionnaires and interviews were employed to conduct an in-depth study of the case of an administrative village in Hebei province.Lack of education awareness,low quality of home and school education,and lack of powerful measures to guarantee the children's educational rights were found to be key issues related to the education of children left-behind.The measures proposed by the study to improve the education of children left-behind included reforming the household registration system,enhancing government transfer payment to education in rural areas,widing channel of going to school,extending the custody of the community and school functions and other measures to resolve the left-behind children's educational problem,simultaneously we hope that the community cooperates fully to ensure the healthy development of children left-behind.
