Research On The Recent Status Development Of Mass Gymnastics In Rizhao Shangdong Province

With the promotion of the national fitness program and the continuous improvement of living standards, more and more people realize the importance of doing sports.Gymnastics is one of the oldest and most important sport events. It is rich in content form and close to daily life,that’s why it is acceptable to the masses. But gymnastics’s promotion is not well developed in our country, and there are a lot of problems need to be solved. For many years, the rapid development of gymnastics is slowly change people’s understanding about it. While most gymnastics’s workers focused on athletics gymnastics and ignore the mass gymnastics aggravating people’s misunderstanding of gymnastics to some extent. In2003, the chairman of Asian gymnastics federation told reporters:" It is sure that Chinese athletics gymnastics is in the top level of Asia and the world,But it will be better if China can popularize gymnastics "on the second Gymnastics Championships in Guangzhou.This paper emphsis on the status about mass gymnastics development in Rizhao city, Shangdong provice. The paper mainly uses the literature data method, the questionnaire method, the interview method and mathematical statistics method. It analyze the history of social demand about gymnastics in our country and the present situation and problems of mass gymnastics in Rizhao city. According to the preliminary exploration, the author will puts forward countermeasures, so that mass gymnastics can have better promotion and development in shandong province and even in China, during this process, mass gymnastics can play an important role in the nationwide fitness campaign, and solve the demand of the public.The results of the study show that:the development of mass gymnastics in rizhao city has entered the preliminary stage but there are also many problems about it:1. The public lack of understanding about the mass gymnastics;2. Mass gymnastics is not well popularized;3. the usage of Mass gymnastics equipment is not enough;4. The shortage of social sports instructors;5. No special organizations for people to study public gymnastics’s skills and knowledge. So we will Propaganda and increase people to the public understanding of the gymnastics, improve sports facilities, improve efficiency, increase government departments to public gymnastics importance, set up the special mass gymnastics working group, perfect management structure, strengthen social sports instructor training, continuous innovation mass gymnastics content, vigorously developing traditional national sport is promoting a mass gymnastics popular strategy. The development and popularization of mass gymnastics is comply with international sports development trend of the product, can certainly in the nationwide popularity and promotion, the prospect of the development of mass gymnastics will be bright.
