In recent years, with the continuous development of economy and society inChina, all kinds of irresponsible social events emerge at the same time. While peopleenjoy the enormous convenience of social development, they also stress responsibilitymore and more. Wherever is in the field of political life or economic life,"responsibility" is becoming increasingly important. The realization of massinstruction of higher education makes the number of colleague students rising andgraduation army pouring in society, which means more graduates participate in theoperation of the government and enterprises. Not only their own future but also theentire organization and even the whole society will be impacted by responsibility ofthese colleague students. Responsibility education of college students as one aspect ofmoral education is an effective way to develop the quality of university students’responsibility. So, responsibility education of college student is a very practicalresearch topic.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction.Firstly, this section describes the purpose of the responsibility education ofuniversity students. Secondly, we explore the significance of this research from thetheory, practice, and society such three aspects. Then, from the point of view of theresearch review the connotation, content and importance of responsibility educationof university students is analyzed as well as the problems of university students’responsibility, the cause of formation and the ideas to solve these problems. Finally,we use the methods of literature, questionnaire and dialectical materialism, whichreflect the innovation of the article writing.The second part is the overview of the responsibility education of universitystudents.This part starts out from the meaning of responsibility, teasing out the basicmeaning of the responsibility education. On the basis of significance of improving students’ responsibility, the characteristic that university students’ responsibilityeducation is different from of the primary and secondary education of responsibility isthen pointed out. Finally, we explore the basic elements of the responsibilityeducation of university students, including sense of responsibility, responsibilitybehavior, responsibility, and responsibility evaluation.The third part is the basic situation of responsibility education of universitystudents.At first, we describe the basic situation of the responsibility education ofuniversity students according to the information and data of questionnaire. Most ofdescription is mainly focused on the sense of responsibility, responsibility behavior,responsibility, and responsibility evaluation. On this basis, it summed up the problemsof university students responsibility education: self-serving motives affect the senseof responsibility into responsible behavior, university students’ responsibilitycognition need to be strengthened and internal responsibility evaluation imbalances.Lastly,The fourth part is the reason’s analysis.we analyze the problems of students’ responsibility education from the fouraspects, the students themselves the family, school and society respectively.The fifth part is the thoughts of countermeasures about responsibility educationof university students.Firstly, it is necessary to improve the level of responsibility education ofuniversity students. On the one hand our traditional culture can be taken use of toevaluable the resource discovery about responsibility education of university students,on the other hand affected people around can inspire college students to participate inthe responsibility of enthusiasm.Secondly, the educational philosophy of family responsibilities must be changed.Parents should establish the correct values and set a good example of responsibility asfar as possible. At the same time they have to constrain their behavior to guideuniversity students through their own right responsible behavior.Once again, the responsibility education in schools should be improved. First, wemust determine the cultivating plan of college students’ responsibility using reality as reference. Second, the work ethic of teachers and school should be changed based onthe students. Third, means of formation of university students ’ responsibility need tobe innovative based on knowledge. Fourth, taking responsibility as the main line, wehave to nurture environment to cultivation of university students’ responsibility.Finally, we should create climate of social responsibility education.Our innovation is mainly on the basis of in rational definition the concept ofresponsibility education and fundamentals, questionnaires are used to write this essayand some suggestions and thoughts are made on responsibility education foruniversity students.
