With the process of Chinese social modernization development is accelerated, theissue of peasant-workers gradually highlight, at the turn of the century, China appearedthird times tide of peasant-workers. Unlike of peasant-workers increased gradually,becoming the new subject of peasant-worker the two times tide of peasant-workers, in thistide of peasant-workers, the number of the new genera s. In January31,2010the StateCouncil issued the central document No.1《on the increase efforts to balance urban andrural development and further practical rural development foundation of a number ofopinions》, the first use of the concept of “the new generation of peasant-workers”.Because of low wages, narrow contact surface, sex ratio imbalance of the employmentindustry and other reasons, marriage and emotion has become the main confusion theyare facing. Furthermore due to the bride-price cost huge growth and other limits, thespouse plight of the new generation of male peasant-workers is more serious than thenew generation of female peasant-workers.The article focuses on the relationship between marriage payments and the spouseplight of new generation of male peasant-workers. Based on a common city of LiaoningProvince——Jinzhou. Taking the new generation of male peasant-workers as the object ofinvestigation.This research mainly used case interview method to study the problem.Based on the market charge theory, marriage market theory, mate gradient theory, studythe spouse plight of new generation of male peasant-workers, combining with the reality ofmarriage payments in the region, analysis of the causes of the spouse plight of newgeneration of male peasant-workers, and the relationship between marriage payment andspouse plight. Then put forward some constructive suggestions for the spouse plight. Thecase of Jinzhou shows, marriage payment and the spouse plight of new generation ofmale peasant-workers is a two-way interactive process. Because marriage payment costsrise sharply and the changes in direction, properties, making the spouse plight of new generation of male peasant-workers more prominent and significant. on the other hand,the emergence of spouse plight to some extent resulted in marriage payments appear aserious of changes in terms of amount and form, etc. Between the two is not a one-wayprocess, but a process of two-way interaction.
