The Research On Male Youth Workers From Rural Areas Mate Selection And Marriage Payment

The question that having a lover and getting married is an important theme,which is related to the happiness of the individual life,racial inheritance,which is also an eternal and fashionable topic on streets and lanes.Rural young single men go to a city,becoming indispensable city builders.They spend their most time in the city every year and witness that prosperous and wonderful city. They hope they can have happy and sweet marriage life,but how can they make the dream come true ? This study puts some men who work for others in city and married recently years as objects to learn the process of mate selection and the specially marriage payment and try to explain the specific marriage practice from the perspective of theory.The first part aims to analyse and explain the relevant study, grasps generally academic attitude and research progress about the mate selection and marriage payment,and determines the research direction.The second part introduces society,culture and economy about W village,summarizes local marriage customs and basic state about single male mate selection and marriage payment.The third and forth part describe the process of mate selection and marriage payment action about married men.The last part summarizes the whole thesis and draw a conclusion.This study found there are two different logical about mate selection and marriage payment on young men who work for others in city,the process of mate selection and marriage payment is different because brides come from ‘the local 'and ‘the outside'in these newly-married family. ‘The local' meet her husband though acquaintance and they got married quickly.They follow their husband live with their father in a yard.The brides family benefit from marriage payment. ‘The outside' meet her husband naturally and have stable affection foundation,they have their own new family after getting married.Most of marriage payment become their fortune and they are beneficiary.However,both of them have some common ground that bridegroom 's father pay for the marriage and related debt.The reasons of marriage payment are powerful payment habits,strategic choice and the agrestic expectation on bloodline.
