In this paper, with the studying on the design of scientific toys and children’s education, the extensive collection of classic case between traditional scientific design and modern scientific toy design, it applies child psychology, child education, child games theory and design psychology, product design theory to analyze, induce, and deduce research methods in order to explore the relationship among the toy design requirements, design methods and children education, hoping to supply certain theoretical guidance and practical help in children toy design and production. In this paper, according to the thought of case analysis—theory induction—practice exploration and according to "the overview with scientific toys—the design requirements on children growing up—scientific toys design method embodying the educational value—scientific toys and children education", it is organized.First, It clarifies related concepts and begins with the research of background, indicating that the toys have unlimited broad market prospects. It analyzes the domestic and international toy industry status, discerning that the toys should have the scientific education, Science toy design and production has become a big trend of toy industry. It clarifies scientific toys concept and its four basic characteristics, and then from the intellectual toys and intelligence toys, it undertakes classified research.Additionally, The design of scientific toys requirements for the children growing. In order to learn to play the role of children education. Based on the basic elements of toy design, safety factor, emotional factor and accord with the characteristics of children development design concept that discussed science toy design; Based on the summary and analysis of the children’s science toy design elements. It puts forward some methods which are suitable for children’s science toys design and development method.Finally, The paper discusses from the education on science toys demands and scientific toys educational function. The article points out that the children’s growth and development not only needs physical strength, intelligence and other factors,but also needs emotional, aesthetic and other non-intellectual factors. The growth of children is a process where they continue to integrate into the community process. During this period scientific toys play an irreplaceable role in helping the children involve in social. Scientific toys promote social integration of children. They also train the thinking ability of children and inspire children’s creation consciousness in early time. To realize the scientific toys educational function requires all designers and producers to bear in mind the guidelines.
