"The fate of a nation, not so much in the hands of those in power rather in the hands of parents." Family education plays a vital role in the growth process of individual; parents’education concept hindered their education behavior. Tutoring children’s homework is an important aspect of family education. Along with the development of social development and the changes of education system, people who play the principle role in tutoring children’s homework have been changed. At present outside school tutoring organization has become the emerging main part in tutoring elementary school students. T here is certain blindness when parents choose outside school tutoring organizations. Therefore, in reference for relevant existing research results, through to the investigation and related material analysis and research, this paper present the status quo of Pupils’ parents’need on outside school English tutoring in the G district of Nanjing and Reveal the main problems existing in their needs. Analyze the causes of the problem from three aspects:parents, the school, the English tutoring organizations, in the light of the three reasons, the paper put forward concrete measures and Suggestions.I draw the Following Conclusions through the analysis of data:Parents’educational expectations stay in a high level; they go after students’ English score in the school; while the parents show low self-efficacy in family education,78%of the parents show lack of confidence in educate children; there are three factors which impact parents’choice in outside school English tutoring, firstly the impact of social environment, secondly the defects of normal school English teaching and thirdly The dependences of the parents; parents’evaluation of the outside school English tutoring are more one-sided. Parents play decisive roles in elementary students’ outside school English tutoring and parents’ educational conception is a key factor which effect they to make the related decisions. Therefore when we analyze this phenomenon, we must consider the educational guidance of parents’needs in outside school English tutoring, Helping them to form scientific educational behaviors.The problems which existing in Pupils’parents’outside school English tutoring needs is not just a problem in family education, The cause of the hidden behind reflects many problems including the parents,the school English teaching and English tutoring organizations even some social problems. Hence, only parents, schools, outside school English tutoring organizations make efforts together, can we provide more efficient outside school English tutoring to students and their parents.
